Temi Fágbénlé: The Toronto Tempo have signed 6’4 centre Temi Fágbénlé, adding a reliable and experienced interior presence to their frontcourt after her strong inaugural season with the Golden State Valkyries. A consistent starter, Fágbénlé started 38 of 39 games in 2025, averaging 7.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.6 assists while shooting over 50 percent from the field, ranking among the league’s most efficient centers. Known for her defensive instincts, paint protection, and ability to facilitate from the post, she played a key role in establishing Golden State’s frontcourt identity. Kia Nurse: The Tempo have signed Kia Nurse, one of the most accomplished and recognizable figures in Canadian basketball, as the franchise continues building Canada’s first WNBA team, adding veteran leadership, versatility, and a deep connection to fans nationwide. In the 2025 season, Nurse appeared in 44 games (18 starts), averaging 7.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while shooting 33.5% from three, ranking among the league’s top perimeter threats with 61 made three-pointers.
